Okay. So why is it that if you go to Edmunds.com - you find the ratings on Northstar Eldorado's hang at around 9.6 or so - but the Seville's much lower? It seems the Seville is much more problematic.. Why is this?
Depends on who is rating. I noticed on MSN home page today that they are now rating used cars. Seville, particularly, the 95-99 models are highly rated.
Truth is, the one we drive is the only real way we know. My 95 is approaching 140, 000 miles and after removing two SK wrencehs from beneath the battery, and filling the hidden cell with water, (yes they were too lazy to remove the plate that hides the front cell!), I see good voltage readings and out side of replacing the fuel pressure regulator (that was the reason the car was sold); It is doin fine.
