There are some pics of a Cadi I found in Egypt. The last pic is us overtaking a truck and a pickup passing us while we do so on a two lane highway. Two lane highways become unofficial 4 lane highways in Egypt. :D

Not sure of the year and make, but I do know the guy who owns it doesn't drive it much. Even though gas is only 80 cents US a gallon, driving such a big car in Egypt isn't practical.

Interesting....I will say that!

Wonder if there are very many over there, or if this just happens to be quite the oddball?

Definitely a rare case. Sadat's Cadillac Limo was for sale on this forum's classified. Other than that, I haven't seen any other Cadillacs. Importing cars there is VERY expensive.

Looks like a good candidate to restore.
I like the trunk kit and the '70's aftermarket hood ornament.
I wonder if the moonroof is stock? :hmm:
Sunroof is most definitely not stock. With almost no rain in Egypt, leaking isn't an issue really. It looked like a hack job to me. I too like the Hood Ornament.

Looks like a 78-79 or so. The rear window is cool, I don't like the RR grille though.
Imagine not having those little windows? What a massive pillar and huge blind spot that would be!!!

I'm not a huge fan of the Rolls Royce grill either. Specially with the checker pieces below. I do like the emblem though. I'd like one just like it for my Cadi. Maybe with a bit of a boobjob, like the dame at the front of Pirate ships.

That is a 1979 Coupe DeVille :)

I never seen those quarter panel windows before tho... actually that rear window isn't factory either.... dealer hack job to me...

looks to be a car with ALOT of dealer add-ons when new... most that stuff isn't factory.

Still cool though, hell if I was any place over there, I'd be rockin' my '79.... ya just don't see them much, plus it would probably be the safeest thing on the road :) not to mention just cool.

It would be safe, and considering the way they drive, that's a good thing. But there isn't a car without scratches and dings. I have yet to find a car, including brand new BMWs and Mercedes without fender benders, scratches, dents and dings. I'd never buy a car like that because you can't avoid accidents over there. They happen, and you live with it. I'd probably kick in the door myself just so it's less than perfect right away and accept it.
