There are 3 electrical modules in the trunk, one is the BCM, and I assume one is the ECM. Anyone know the differences, and what each controls?

What is happening: No auto lights, no Climate Control, no power windows, no Auto lights, no release of emergency brake when putting car in gear...among other things.

I replaced the BCM and it did not change anything. The other computer module looks nearly identical to the BCM, but makes no difference if I unplug it. Is this the ECM, and does anyone know what it controls?

Thanks for any info....

Have you checked the fuses ? There are some bus fuses that control some of those items. They are 50 and 60 amp fuses. On my 97 Concours they are located under the main fuse box in the engine compartment, right over the driver side wheel.

I wish it was that...checked all underhood small (and large) fuses. Also checked the fuses in the trunk. Whatever controls all the electronics seems to be toasted.
