I have figured out I need a new EBTCM (electronic breaking and traction control module) for my 1994 STS. I am having a bear of a time finding the part number for this - anyone out there know how to find it? I'm trying to find the price at www.gmpartsdirect.com but without the number I can't search it.

Holy crap! It is a PITA to find... But i managed. It's part #3530998

BTW what makes you so sure that you need a new one?... Scratch that, I just finished reading some of your previous threads. I think you should ask them to show you proof that you need a new one. Make sure that it is plugged in all the way when they do though. The EBTCM is located right in front of the tranny, underneath the air cleaner. You can identify it by the brake lines going into it as well as a large wireing harness. It is close to the exhaust pipe, so I would imagine that GM would think to protect it from heat. It doesn't make sense to me that a simple overheating would kill it.
