I have seen the "1791" code instructions to enable DVD for my kid when driving. My CTS-V, 2005 does not have numeric choices. How do I enable the DVD for my kid of course.

When you push the two buttons simultaneously you will get a different screen. Just push the two simultaneously again and it will be activated. If you don't know what I'm talking about then you need to do a little more searching.
