DVD Player play MP3's?

i know the regular cd player doesn't play mp3's but has anyone tried the DVD player? a DVD full of MP3's would be way cool...

hmmmmm, I need to try this, I did burn a dvd with music videos and played it fine, but its useless because when driving you can't jump from one to the other,
