Does the Escalade perform better with a dual exhaust or is it just for looks and sound?

Duals or single will add about the same performance because they are both from the cat back.

if you want to get technical, dual's take away from low end torque and add to top end hp , but singles add to low end torque and dont allow as much top end hp, and duals are technically louder, especially with headers and cats.
