Dual exhaust ports in rear bumper (inserts from ebay)

Gang,
instead of going to all the hassle of retrofitting the rear bumper to get the dual ports, has anyone tried to use these and just cut/fit/adapt them into our regular bumpers? Seems like it might work easier. Just a thought

IMO, it will look like an unfinished hack job without the molded lip of the bumper surrounding the exhaust tip.

Ya, I see the small recesses you are speaking of on the top side of the port now that you point it out. I guess it all depends on the angle of the chrome ports in relation to the bumper slant. I am certain some sort of trim could be fashioned to keep it from looking like "a hack job".......where there's a will there's a way. The chrome ports are 350 bucks on eBay and I believe they are OEM
