And I could not believe how punchy that think felt.. The off idle low end torque was incredible ..
I thought that a 3.6 in something as heavy as an SRX would feel labored .. That was until I gave it a heavy dose of throttle from a stop light, and it started to torque steer from what the motor was putting down..
Don't get me wrong.. And SRX doesn't come close to running with an ATS at wide open throttle.. But the torque management strategy in the ECU is clearly different .. I've got a KPE tuner on the way, and if it gives my 3.6 the low end torque like the one in the SRX.. That's going to make a vehicle as light as the ATS a fun car to drive..
