How to modify US 2018 XT5 - DRL to Canadian standard.
DRL has to maintain on when running or in drive mode ,should not be able to be switched off.

You might have better luck in the right forum.. This is not for XTS or 2018 cars... And as far as I knew US DRL laws are the same. Although just running is not part of the law. Vehicle has to be moving. If Canada Law is different I would like to see that one as cars are passed between Canada and US all the time and I have never heard of this being an issue before.

It’s not a XTS but a XT5 Sorry if not in the right forum
In the US the DRL lights can be switched off ,with the lights selector switch , this is not legal in
Canada . They have to maintain on and can’t be switched off.

The vehicle didn’t pass the required safety inspection that is needed in Canada .
