Driver side temp control stuck

I searched the forum but wasnt able to find much help on my issue. The temp control on the driver side is stuck at 60 degrees, heated seat button doesnt work, cooled seat button DOES work. The passenger side still works 100%. Ive been told numerous things from my dealership so now im looking for some real help.

I was told the control panel needs to be replaced and this is the part number 25837749. http://www.gmpartsdirect.co/oe-gm/25837749 Is this the correct panel for my car? Am I able to change this out myself or is computer reprogramming required when replacing this?

My car is a 2008 CTS RWD with the performance package, no navigation, heated and cooled seats.

Thanks for any help on this issue.

I have the same problem but on the passenger side... (good thing I'm the driver..lol) from what I've gathered you need to replace the center control stack..

I found used temp control panels (just for the climate control & seats) for $50 on ebay, but I've yet to confirm if you can swap out just that part.. It sounds like you need an entire panel ( radio controls & all)

has both sides
Keep me posted... I might try & just swap out the $50 controls & hope it fixes mine
I'm from Windsor... I think I'm going to order the ebay panel & give that a shot
Thanks for the offer, I appreciate it , I went ahead & ordered the used one off ebay for $43, I'll try swapping that out 1st & see what happens, cheap fix if it works , I'll keep you posted
UPDATE : $43 dollar fix ! pulled the center stack & swapped out just the passenger side climate control/seat switch & everything functions 100%
watched a you tube video how to pull center panel.. it was fairly easy job 1/2 hour & I was good to go.
