Driver side temp control stuck

I searched the forum but wasnt able to find much help on my issue. The temp control on the driver side is stuck at 60 degrees, heated seat button doesnt work, cooled seat button DOES work. The passenger side still works 100%. Ive been told numerous things from my dealership so now im looking for some real help.

I was told the control panel needs to be replaced and this is the part number 25837749. http://www.gmpartsdirect.co/oe-gm/25837749 Is this the correct panel for my car? Am I able to change this out myself or is computer reprogramming required when replacing this?

My car is a 2008 CTS RWD with the performance package, no navigation, heated and cooled seats.

Thanks for any help on this issue.

I have repaired these switches before after falling victim to a leaky sunroof. Disassembly is fairly easy. You can find instructions on YouTube. Once you have the part in your hand, you can test the switches with a DMM. Each switch has two contact points. In my case, water had infiltrated the board and a plated thru hole connection was open. I shoved a piece of bus wire thru the hole, soldered it on each side and bingo the switch started working. I'm located outside of Detroit. Where are you?
If you want to bring the switch over to the States this weekend, I'm pretty sure I can fix it for you
