2005 sts pulled out a sunglasses from under the seat. it can hear and feel the motors moving. goes front to back. won’t go up or down. now when i stop there is play in the seat. looking for help

Could be anything from a broken gear, broken track, something stuck in the track, etc-- a visual examination is required which would involve removal of the seat.
