Hey!

So I'm looking at upgrading my ATS with a tune and some custom parts (intakes, downpipes, exauhst) and possibly an upgraded turbo. For example I got a tip from someone in another thread I posted about Vermont Tuning and found their Stage2+E85 conversion kit, which puts down over 300 hp and 300 torque into the asphalt, this is about +50% on both hp and torque compared to stock, which obviously will put more stress on the drive-train.

Is there any information/data/something available about how much hp/tq the rest of the drive-train can handle? I have the 2.0T + AWD + Automatic ATS.

A forum contributor who works for a GM power train supplier once mentioned that the AWD transfer case was rated at 450 HP. He didn't mention torque, which is the typical rating method, but maybe that's what he meant.

Hey!

Thanks for the info, do you know if there's any official documentation or specifications from GM available on this stuff?

Sorry, no I don't. But it will be interesting to see what you learn. Good luck.
