Has anyone looked at running a solid drive shaft instead of the two piece with center bearing???

Yes. But it's not an easy chore as it seems many have had balancing issues.

So is it worth looking into, or is it more of a headache then it's worth??? Because I have found a setup that's not much more cost wise then a factory setup, but it is rated over a thousand HP. Of coarse there are other things that will need change before that kind of power can be tossed at it..

I haven't done it, just seen some of the headaches in trying to replace it with aftermarket items. There may be a dependable option out there, but I'm not familiar with it...
