So today I noticed that my Seville is not shifting down on its own too fast, at all. The car will crawl forward when sitting still already, which I know is due to my rear brakes needing an overhaul which I am doing. However this issue is due to when I let off the gas after the car reaches 2nd gear respectably, it can take many blocks to OOZ down to 1st and even then idle at 8mph if I let it. Is this the governor pressure being shot or solenoid maybe?. Not sure

Other thing to add though I think this is a seperate issue. The shift knob feels like the pins in the steering column are stripped. It slides from 3-1 but drive is defined as are reverse and neutral.
