The 3rd row seat on my '07 chattered noticably and would labor when raising. The vehicle was still under warranty so the dealer replaced the lift mechanism as the fix. There isn't any scheduled service but seems like I was able to look under the seat by removing "something" like a trim piece along the bottom. That would give you an idea if there's any lub on the mechanism or something has lodged causing the problem
Does the 3rd row seat need lubed?
Just noticed my 3rd row seat sometimes will not raise unless I lift it a bit to get it started. I'm wondering if there is anything that needs lubed? Battery seems fine.
