My HMI is down, not working anymore, i need to replace it ...but can t find it , don t know where is located, and can t find online too

Please if anyone know, let me where is it located in the car, like that i ll be able to change it

HMI = Human Machine Interface and is usually related to touch screens in vehicles. I am colored blind as well but the response did state #2 :')

It's almost like the question was directed at people who would know what an HMI is and the answer was for the person who asked the question.
To clarify.
The HMI is the Human Machine Interface.
This module is responsible for controlling the video display and interpretation of the touch screen outputs. It also handles the different camera inputs and switches them on and off as required.

Can you use hmi's from different cars if its the same part number or do they have to be vin specific?

Can you use hmi's from different cars if its the same part number or do they have to be vin specific?

I believe they need to be programmed with the VIN, either by the dealer or manufacturer.
