Just had a Tranny Flush and Fill at the Caddy dealer today.... I thought it was a bit much? I asked them how much would be a serpentine belt replacement and rear end flush and fill as well. $130.00 for the belt and $140.00 for the rear end......What do you guys think? :thepan:

Take it to a loca gas station shop they got just as much equipment as the delaer in fact sometimes they would do it even better.

My dad works at one of those tiny places with a 2 shop garage and they do some of the best work around. He did my stuff and he stayed away from the machine method and went the good old way of taking everything apart cleaning and then putting back together.

It would have cost me around 120 for the whole thing considering the tranny kit was 35 and the oil was another 30

I think my tranny job was only a flush and fill, no filter replacement. I may have to inquire about that....
