Hello, has anyone tried one of those adaptors that you put into your cassete deck for playing c.d.'s. it looks like a cassette tape with a wire coming out of it.I really dont care for things like this, but where I live I get a great insurance rate for having a collector car,but the car cannot be altered in any way or I will lose the rate.
Tnx Creeker

My old car has an eight track player so I have to plug a cassette adapter into that and then a CD adapter into that.

Yep, used a Sony in my Eldo briefly before buying a Delco truck mount 12 disc CD changer.

I was gonna do that with the '79....

but I got an AM-FM-cassette from an '85 brougham that was a direct replacement... now i just use the cassette adapter :)

As said above, They do work. I had one in one of my other cars. Just buy a good CD player with a delay so it doesn't skip on you. I'm sure the CD players they make now are alot better then the one I had from 1993.
