I don't have an FSM but will be getting one this week. I am doing the water pump on my 07 and have everything out. It took me a few hours and really it's not bad pretty straight forward. Anyways I do not think I am supposed to but wanted to double-check. The pump has a oring and the thermostat housing has a big o ring too. I assume you do not put any around the oring correct?

Got the new pump, thermostat, and orings in. I wanted to add sealant so bad but glad I didn't she is running fine with no more leaks. I say total time was about 6 hours it really is not that bad. I think the hardest part was getting the gaskets on and not falling. I could not get the lower radiator hose off because of the way the clamp is facing. It's not a pinch one. So I just positioned it to point down and then vacuumed up the rest with a shop vac. It must have gotten everything because I filled it up with 10 quarts and it still needs more.
