there was a discussion about this on another board so i took some pictures. They aren't perfect, just sort of a rough estimate. Kind of puts things in perspective.

my civic (1.6L):

my roomates 1/2 ton 4x4 chevy pickup with a 350 (5.7L)

The 500 CID caddie motor going into my roomates scout in the next few weeks (8.2L)

Really puts things in perspective. You must have a lot of free time, really bored, or a combination thereof.

really. their engines are the size of less than one cylinder bank of the 500. Truly pitiful

Many of them are less than half of the Northstar even! Northstar is 4.6L. That's like two 2.3L L4s mated together.

Isn't it funny how a V8 less than 5 liters seems "small", but any four cylinder over about 2.2 or 2.3 liters is a "big" four cylinder??
