Dim HVAC controls-2000 seville

The HVAC control panel messages are so dim, that they're hard to read. How can you brighten the display?
The dimmer knob to the left of the steering column has no effect.

No independent adjustment possible. If they're always dim, the unit is faulty.

    Hi I have a 95 Seville SLS and I recently disconnected my fpr from the fuel rail and reinstalled but I seen once I removed it that there were 2 small o rings on the nipple that goes in the rail first.   3. Shock absorbers 2001 STS need to be replaced?

    I have a 2001 seville STS. The rear shock absorbers seem to work ok, but look pretty bad. There are quite some little cracks in the rubber and the lower part is greasy. Is it necessary to replace them? Or do they always look like this? Bert

    I am hoping someone can tell me how to tell which shocks are on my 1998 STS. I saw a pic of the electronic air shocks and they had an electrical connection on the top in between the 3 upper shock bolts that hold it on. looking under the hood mine didn't have a connection with wires going there...
