Hi Guys,

I'm going to change differential mount - bad knocking
Does anyone know what is the part number and also do you change just the "front" mount or all of them (3)?

Regards,

Thanks,

Yes I checked that before and only front one is damaged, the rear two looks ok but I prefere ask, just in case to avoid double labour.
Mine problem is similar when shift from R to D or from N to D the diff is jumping in broken mount. I can easily lift the diff by hand.
Also when downshift I feel the knock. Firstly I was thinking there is something wrong with tranny but when I lock the gear in manual mode and I pressed and relased gas pedal few times it's still knocking.
Differential front mount definitely need to be replaced.

I have put creative steel's bushing in my car and a friends CTS. I'd recommend it along with renting their tool..

Sorry for the late replies guys.

BBQMaven,
revshift does not provide a special tool(at least I don't think so) for the metal sleeve, but yes you will need one. I tried BEATING it out myself but failed miserably!! I had to put everything back together and take it to a mechanic.

Wojciech,
yes it will fit your car.

If you're going to use the revshift bushing and no tool you are going to have to cut the old metal sleeve out with a sawzaw or something..

Hi Guys,

Last question.

I have purchased REVSHIFT part, look solid.

What is the mount procedure?

When I remove the old part do I have to put new one back in to that metal sleeve?
Or screw up new part as is?

Thanks
