Ok, this is just a visual. I can get into the GM media site and pull pix as others here can do I guess. Sometimes they have some interesting stuff.
This is the STS cradle. NOtice the lowball rear brakes. I guess the CTS will continue to get the good stuff. Diff mount up is the same.

Usually rear brakes are pretty lousy. My M3 had dinner plates up front and saucers in back. Same for the Benz and the G. Something like 80% of braking is up front, so the rears aren't as important. Cool pic though.. can you grab/post more? I love those disection diagrams. Thanks for that!

At least Cadillac didn't go cheap with the V's rear brakes. GTO's look wimpy when you park it next to a V.
