I have the "service stability system" message every now and then on my 04 DTS. I pulled all the codes and got 4 all had "history" next to them. After looking them up none of them seem to match up with the message. Should I clear everything out? Why is there no code for that message?

Here are the codes I got but they were all history codes..

B1327 - sys voltage dropped below 9 volts
P1540 - (A/C) Refrigerant Overpressure - Air Conditioning (A/C) Disabled
U1016 - Loss of Communications with PCM
B1860 - Driver Lumbar Vert Sensor Circuit Malfunction

Low battery voltage will cause all kinds of strange problems B1327 is set anytime that battery voltage drops below 9.0 volts for more than 1.2 seconds. If you still have the original battery in your 2004 I would change out the battery before I started trying to "fix" anything.

If it is stabilitrak related then you need to find C codes not P, B or U codes.
Not sure what you missed. Stabilitrak codes are in the EBCM. (ABS module)

Pulled the codes again and I missed the first one that came up...

C1287 (History) - Steering Sensor Rate Malfunction

I cleared all the codes so if the message comes up again im assuming then I need to take it in to the dealer?
