I know you guys can fugure this one out for me before I go to get it serviced.

A few months back I hit a pothole pretty bad (in DC). I definately felt the sense of botoming out (or hitting the undercarriage) on the front left (driver) of my car (3.6 Sport/Lux).

Since then at about 25mph when I roll over even slightly uneven pavement it feels like there is a rattle(?) or some kind of wobble on that front left tire. I can feel it in the floor panel and even vibration on the accelarator pedal. It would be imperceptable to anyone else in the car, but I'm so aware of it I think I can even hear a rattling sound.

What could have been broken? or am I imagining a problem. On smooth road there is absolutely no problem with this car. There are no changes to ride other than this slow speed "wobble" sensation I get under the drivers floor and in the pedals.

Ideas?

Got a floor jack and garage? Jack that left front up and start shaking parts and the wheels. Got a big rubber mallet? Use that to beat on parts to see if anything is loose or broken. Use a flashlight to inspect the parts. If that fails you need to visit your service dept.:yup:

I think you should also look to see if you damaged your rim. You could have knocked it out of round or bent the lip slightly. Also check the tire for any sidewall damage.

I would think any rim damage would give him serious vibrations at most speeds. But none the less should be looked at. Probably not a warranty issue either.:crying2:

I had similar symptoms once on my Exploder. Took it in to the dealer; they put it up on the lift, then came back out with really wide eyes. One of the ball joints was so loose it almost came out when they shook the wheel!
