it is a 4.9 engine and when it starts often times it will rev up VERY high. Also, accelerator actually pulls itself when driving sometimes and bucks when idling at a stop light. Please help I am desperate. Just put a new idle speed control on it 3 weeks ago and is still doing this and seemingly getting worse.

Can somebody please help with my 1994 idle problems?

the idle runs wild similar to the post about the 1995.It also bucks when stopped at a light and i can feel the accelerator being pulled. After reading several posts, i am wanting to clean the egr but cant seem to locate it according to the diagrams on here. Does anyone have any suggestions or can explain where it is.

Have you pulled the DTC's? Have you adjusted the ISC motor when you installed it? Have you checked for vacuum leaks?

I apologize for the dbl post i am new to this and very frustrated with my car. Thank u for responding can u tell me how to adjust the isc other than with the screw if thats possible please.

With the engine at idle, press on the plunger and it should retract. Unplug it when it bottoms out. Now set the gap to .030. Plug it back in and you're done.

The proper way of doing it is in the service manual and too detailed to be posted. You really need the factory manual to work on these cars.
