My daughter went through the PIB stage(People in Black). I talked to her about it but it had no impact. What a freak!:nono:
Rather humorous coming from someone who blacked out their CTS and seems to have a vader fetish... :p

To each there own. If it was my kid I would freak, but as long as they remained a good person that is all that matters. You can only do so much and then at some point allow them to take what you taught them and experience life. Even if it is not the way I would have envisioned it.

Everyone has a problem with this PIB thing

Although if they were my kids, i would buy them a nice little house, give them some money, and tell them to stay away from me.

I think

Some stuff is OK

That is TOO FAR

I like Johnny Cash.

When the kid memorizes every word to "One Piece at a Time" she would be allowed to dress that way on the weekends.

Secondary Education: 11-16
Sixth form Education: 16-18 (its like "upper" school)
College: 16-18 (its more relaxed than sixth form, no uniform, no 9am-3pm)
University: 18+

Yes, there is a BIG differance, especially in the Eastern part of the USA.

College = Equals about $24,000 a year
University = Equals about $ 32,000 a year

I am speaking from current experience. :eek:

Hey look it's time for fishing.
But if it were my kids, I would ask them if they would like me to help them find their mind, because they had to have lost it looking like that.

It depends on whether you're talking about a "state" university, or a private college.

Back in my day, $750 got you books and tuition for a semester. You could take up to 21 hours for that. I never took more than 18. You could live on campus for $110 per month. Food was the only remaining expense.

My kids went to a state school, my wife is the headmistress of this school.

My younger son is in a state college, which is free, my older lad is in University which charges our family a small fortune for his education. I would not consider putting any of my kids into private schols or colleges.

I want my kids to see the real world, how things really happen, and i want them to be streetwise.
