The subject may not be a suprise to most but it is for me. My modded V has been rejected by 3 seperate dealers for repairing the bushings. The dealers site that the header/exhaust combination is the reason for rejection. The naughty dealers are Paul Conte Caddi, City Caddi, and Potamkin Caddi -- located in Freeport, Long Island City and Manhattan respectively.

I called Kooks and asked them where I should go for warranty repairs and they said King-O'Rourke in Smithtown.

All I needed replaced were the bushings and a sail panel that broke thanks to CTSVFLORIDA (Brian) for racing and beating me this past weekend out at Captree. Didn't know I couldn't go above 90 or 100 with the windows down and sunroof open. Now I know!

Any who, I went out to Smithtown this morning and was told that in addition to the sail panel and bushings, I needed a new diff and an axle boot. All of these items are covered. They're ordering all my parts and I'll be bringing the car back next week for repairs.

I was suprised that I needed a diff. I never saw or heard any of the reported symptoms. I guess I need to pay more attention to her.

So, if you're in the NY area and your V has mods and you need warranty work, go to King-O'Rourke Cadillac in Smithtown, NY!

Hey, that's great to hear that another class dealer is out there. They are "out there" you just have to ask the right people! :highfive:

I don't recall. He sits at the very first desk when you enter the service dept. from the side of the building. To his credit, he was very nice about it. :nono:

Slicked back black hair? I know who you're talking about. I have the best luck with the guy sitting at the middle desk.
