Basically what the title says. When buying the car, no one at the dealer mentioned anything regarding chip shortages for my ventilated seats.
Just received a letter complaining my car can go install the necessary components.
What should I do? I am pretty frustrated that they did not mention this.
The "No heated steering wheel" was on my sticker along with the $25 credit for not having it. Over a year now and still waiting for "the chip". I don't hold out much hope of ever getting it, but the heated wheel is not that important to me. GM recently gave me $125 worth of GM points for the delay.
I agree that if they offer it and all the parts are available...go get it ASAP or someone else will!!
I guess I am just old and live far enough south that if it gets cold enough to need the wheel heated, I'll stay home That said, it shouldn't take this long for GM to get the parts I agree.
