10th question down:

One of the most common complaints I've read about the CTS is the CUE system, and how it makes it more difficult to perform some basic operations than other cars do with physical buttons. Are there any planned updates to the CUE system, and when could we look forward to seeing these hit new models? - DeBunn

CUE has already received some software updates, further hardware updates will happen in MY 16, and as with all things, an all new CUE system will see the light of day a few years into the future. - de Nysschen

And what do you think the chances are of Cadillac honoring its promise to keep C.U.E. current for existing owners of MY13-14 cars? :suspect:

I remember attending NY auto show in 2011 or 2012 where they had a demo XTS with CUE in it. It was a pre-production CUE, it had GM app store, stitcher, SMS text, Help Book, none of them made into production.

I don't understand why they don't just unlock the text message capability, since it exists in the current software versions but is just hidden.

If your car buying decision is made by what software is in the radio, you are an idiot!

There you go again! It must be hard to type while holding your pacifier with the other hand.
