I
I have the dash BRAKE light come on often. Brakes work fine. Here's some data to chew on:

Parking brake lead at pedal assy disconnected.
Repeated pressing of the brake pedal produces a hard pedal after 25 presses.
Pump pressure measured at 3500 psi.
I built up a test jig with an indicator light that is wired to the pump to tell me when the pump is running.
I also have a switch that grounds the pump relay coil to activate the pump, 'just in case'...
The test indicator lamp comes on from time to time for maybe 4 seconds and goes out as I apply the brakes.
If I activate the test switch for, say 10-15 seconds; enough time to build plenty of pressure, the dash brake light stays lit.
What else can illuminate the dash BRAKE lamp?

I had a similar problem & I found a busted hose from the master cylinder to the abs pump that was causing my brake lite to stay on.
Changed the hose added brake fluid and the light went off . I still need to bleed the brakes but it is no big deal cause I have a full peddle and the brakes work fine.
Just gonna bleed for safety sakes.
