Hello all
I've recently realized that my "Continuously variable road sensing suspension (CVRSS) system" is not working at all or not working correctly. The car rides harder on roads previously riding smooth. The car also sits noticeably lower in the back.

I can hear the pump running when I go to the on position so at least I know that is running. After reading about the system in the Cadillac Technical Archive I realize it could be a number of things.

Can anyone tell me a good way to troubleshoot this system? :bigroll:

Study the proper year/model parts of the sticky post on this forum main threads page - "How to pull codes" from your car's built-in code reader/scanner/memory. The entire active suspension system is monitored and should set one or more C codes. The ELC (Electronic Level Control) is separate from the CVRSS and has its own set of codes and faults - ELC controls rear height only, not suspension operation.

Practice retrieving codes, write them all down and whether each is Current or History. Then return to the sticky to open the link to definitions of all OBD-II codes - decipher your codes and post it all here.

Isnt P0741 the TCC solenoid? The P0401 is pointed to your EGR
---------------------------------
P1860 is the failed TCC solenoid -
causing the P0741 - converter not going to lock-up -
