I just ordered a set of custom plates for my car today, I figured "why the hell not". I got "MACSCDDY", in case it can't be seen, which I'm sure it can, it's Mac's Caddy. Does anyone else have custom plates on their car, if so, what are they. It's going to take a couple of weeks to get it, that sucks but, what are you going to do, I should have done it two weeks ago.

Is that the "Repo Man" style plate? Where a pack of cigarettes is just called "Smokes," and the only available beer is called "Brew." I suppose if it was

I used to have "BAD CAD" on my 472 powered '79 Deville when I lived in New Hampshire. But now, custom plates are too expensive in CT!

Oh vanity tags! Personalized license plates. I thought this thread was about those artistic front plates you can mount.

Why do people buy vanity license plates that tell you what model of car they're on? That has to be the stupidest class of vanity tags in existence. These are supposed to be personalized tags. Your "MACSCDDY" is good MACTICULOUS. I mean those "Cadillac" or "Caddy" type tags.

I appreciate a clever use of characters that say something meaningful about the car, person, business etc. Check out this site of over 1000 vanity tag messages.

I was thinking about custom plates, but don't think I'm going to go for it, because right now it's got antique plates, therefore I don't have to pay for tags each year.

I'd like to have one that says CAD 500
