I've seen around 19 different Eldorado convertibles around Scottsdale. My favorite is a bright blue one with black stripes. The rest were Red, Black, and White.

There are more than 50 in the US, maybe 500.

there are a few companies who do Eldorado convertibles, Coach Builders Limited is the only one authorized by Cadillac though. and they have two different conversions for the eldo, a soft-boot and a hard-boot. the soft-boot doesnt have that lid to cover the roof when it's folded. there are alot of soft-boot ones, but only 50 hard-boot cars.

Thanks alot for the complements guys.

and i have no idea why cadillac stopped making the eldo convertibles.
this car has the most space out of all 2-door convertibles (custom and factory) and is one of the most quiet ones, it's almost the same as the hard top up to 60mph and you can hold a conversation without yelling up to 110mph. plus the the windshield is really high and there's less cabin wind in the front with the top down then if you were driving with open windows on the highway. but the best part about this car is when a person driving a rolls-royce pulls up next to you and tells you that you have a beautiful car and if you are willing to sell it.

There's more than one conversion company that makes these. The problem with this one is the terrible roofline they give their Eldorado convertibles. Others I've seen, from other companies, look a lot better.

These cars certainly aren't that rare--take a check on Ebay at any time, and there's always a bit of an assortment.
