My Cadillac Escalade 2015 touchscreen stopped working. To use the radio I have to use the controls at the wheel. I read somewhere that this is a known issue with these cars and I need to replace the screen but I cant find the part number to have it replaced.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

My dealer just replaced.mine on a 2015i, out of warranty, 67K mi, for a $50 deductible! Apparently it's a GM program, go ask your dealer.

I have 2013 Cadillac ATS. Cue went out while I was still under warranty Cadillac dealership replaced it with no problem. Now that I am out of warranty I called Cadillac dealership to set appointment for service. Once I got there I let them know about the cue system and how it is currently unresponsive. The service rep. explained to me how this is a company wide problem and they will replace the cue brand new for $65.00 not sure if that was with labor or without but I have appointment set for this Friday at 10am. Hope this helps!!

Any vehicle with the flawed cue screan should be recalled because they are aware they made a defective part and they made replacement screans but they cant make it a recall till they get enough people to contact Cadillac corporate and file the complaint and they need actual votes i made one up to issue a recall to any vehicle that was produced with an oem cue screen flawed. Mine doesnt work at all anymore.

Dude i have the same thing going on i went to Cadillac cue wholesale website they sent me a replacement for the flawed screen you can get one wholesale for like $150 if you get it through the dealer you will pay over$ 1000 and labor is 400, imtrying to see if my boy will do it it's pretty easy it's just tedious work you can watch YouTube and it shows you exactly how to swap out the screens but if I were you go to Cadillac cue screens or just cu

I watched the you tube and you have to take out so much shit then remove the whole center structure and you have to put the ribbon in perfect that has all types of little micro chips my hands are big i cant be using little tools so im trying to find someone who can do it

One guy said they're doing a gm program he payed $50 deductable

You are so blessed. I have a 2014 ATS that just reached 60K (Sept 2020). My screen started acting up last year - not responding to my touch. Earlier this year the screen developed a frosted looking appearance on the right side. My dealer wasn't kind at all. I called GM corporate office and got nowhere.
Where is the dealer with the gm program i have a 2015 ATS and i have a screen they want $ 400 to just install

Pleas see the CUE forum for stuff like this. Your poll has been removed - unnecessary.

Welcome to CF !!! Thanks for the interest.

So I was looking on ebay for a new touch screen for my cue. It's at times non responsive and periodically changes to the next screen back and forth and so on. I messaged the seller and asked about finding the model number as the description said and they said take it to the dealer, who of course will want to sell me the entire unit as so many have stated rather than just replacing the screen. So where do you all purchase just the touch screen and do you then have the dealer install it? Thanks in advance.

From all the information I have read it appears if your vehicle sits out in direct sunlight and is exposed to high temperatures it will affect your screen. My SRX 2016 Cue screen went out last summer. It pretty much does what everyone else’s does. I don’t have spidering yet though. If GM replaces your screen just be aware that the life expectancy is 3 years. Quoting what information I have read so far.
I am interested in any updates on the GM program with the $50.00 deductible. Does this program really exit?

Well I took the screen I bought to the GM dealer after making an appointment and explaining what I needed done. Got there and they wouldn't do it. They wanted to sell me the whole shabang.....:(
While mine still works and just flips from screen to screen at times I wanted to get it fixed. I may reach out to the dealer I purchased it from a month ago and see if they will help in any way.

I was waiting to see what was going to happen here. I couldn't imagine any dealer would go through the effort they do in the videos on taking apart and reassembling the screen. It's not something they could warranty the work on and is something you would expect a tech shop for electronics to do rather than the dealership. If they did take it on, you would have probably paid 4+ hours for labor eating into whatever you saved by going with the screen vs whole unit.

Sounds like whoever you spoke to when setting up the appointment didn't clearly understand your request.

Cuescreens.com. Get a new screen that does not have the gel defect. Install yourself or take it to a car stereo type place for them to do it. The co. has how to videos. You'll save $$$ over a new CUE unit from the Dealer to only have it fail again down the road. All vehicles have their Achilles heel.

I have found a place that will install just the screen. The guy said he’d just replaced the screen only in his wife’s Escalade. Is there anyone on the forum that’s had just the screen replaced and it didn’t resolve the freezing up, flickering from side to side?

Had same problem. Dealer had to change the screen, over $1000. Extended warranty covered it.
