I'm going to be at the Petit LeMans race September 29th - October 1st to see them. Anyone else going??? They sound mean...

At Vday 3 when the race car and Andy were there giving rides, the car was so loud Andy had to stop and put in a second set of ear plugs in addition to what he started with. Even when it was on the other side of the track it was loud. At the driver's meeting in the morning, the team started the car up and the whole room jumped. That day was my first track experience at all. On about my third lap, going down the front straight as I was passing the pit exit, Andy pulled out at full bore. Scared the sh!t out of me. He was gone before I even really knew what was happening. A damn cool experience.

Yes - I will be attending, go every year, live about 45 minutes from track. Nice to see the Caddy team back. In 2007 they had "The Cadillac Corral", got to meet drivers, enjoy hospitality goodies and do two parade laps after the Speed GT Race. Hopefully there will be something planned with a factory team back in action.

Did my first track March 5 & 6 at Road ATL........it was awesome. Anyone that has been on that track will tell you turn 12 is a MAJOR PUCKER FACTOR. I will sit at 10a&10b which is the hard left and right before bridge and the gut check infamous turn 12. If the factory does not sponsor something, maybe an improtu Vmeet on the infield.

I've gone every year since 2002 for 3 days. I hope they have the corral again - that was fun. I've driven the track before but 12 doesn't bother me as much as the chicane. Love the esses!!!!

Lockhart sponsors an XLR corral at Mid-Ohio, but that just gets us infield parking and nothing else. Maybe this year they can get Cadillac to do a little more for us.
