Does anyone have the measurements of the CTS-V oil pan? I think this is the only pan that will work on a project I am working on, and I need to know how far back the deep part of the oil pan sits. Can anyone tell me (or measure on your own car) the distance between the front of the oil pan and the part where the pan gets really deep... aka the "sump." Distance should be around 11 or 12 inches... maybe around 13 inches if I'm lucky!

Thanks! -Dave

Technically, the pan is cast and does offer some structural stength to the block, but not all that much.
American Touring Specialties has announced a stamped steel pan designed for motor swaps. Check them out at www.t56kit.com. Ph. 702.245.6305.
The reason I am not measuring my pan is simply that it requires a bit of work to remove plastic underneath to do this.

All measurements are approx... lot of stuff in the way to try to get an accurate measurement:

(1) Shallow Part: 11"
(2) Deep Part: 9 3/4"
(3) Widest point: 9 1/8"
(4) Depth (of pan, not including block): 1"
(5) Depth: 2"
(6) Depth: 3"
(7) Depth: 6 3/4"
