So I took the V out for a Joy ride thru Cambridge here in the UK and got a million looks. I seriously thought I was some kind of celebrity. I mean people were literally swerving on the road, walking into each other, and couples pulling on each other's shirts while pointing at the car. Felt good to see the V getting noticed that much considering there were GTRs, M5s, etc. in the area. Other than my heater not working, it was a good day to own the V. Here they are much more expensive.. They retail the same brand new but in Pounds and not dollars...Exchange rate right now is 1 pound =$1.67. Do the math if I sold it for 50K pounds.. Go back to the states and grab me another one .

I hear dealership network/support for Cadillac in UK is rather poor.
Any truth to that?

We'll see tomorrow as im taking my car to an authorized GM repair shop to be looked at but i was on the phone with Cadillac USA trying to find a reputable Cadillac dealership and they were more lost than I was. Maybe in London I'd have better luck.

Fuel is at 1.36 pounds per liter. Exchange rate is 1 pound = $1.67. Since im military I get fuel on base which is at 3.40 a gallon.

Actually I sent them a message last week and haven't gotten a response. But yea, dealer support here isnt the best. It feels like your SOL if anything happens out here.

Tempt them, offer a V to challenge the F10 M5. Theres no way the V could look badly in that comparison.

LOL^^^ No i haven't seen any other Vs here in the UK. According to the Cadillac service department I go to, they said there's another one in country as a demo car that is still up for sale. Im sure there are more rolling around in Germany. Its kinda cool when you're in London driving past a Lambo, Maserati, or R8 and they just stare at you like WTF is that?
