I did some research and am looking for a local shop that can widen wheels, any issues with strength/stress? These wheels take a bit more of a beating than most considering the torque of the V

How much did they charge you?

I'm in the process of having my coupe rears widened to 11" I'm going to run a 305-30-19 Toyo Proxes R888. I tried the MT drag radial but they were WAY out of round.
I've already mocked it up and everything will clear just fine.

Andy, when you did the mock up did you find that there may be extra room under the coupe to stuff a 12"er and 335 30 19? Or is the 11" and 305 30 19 already a tight fit like the sedan?

What do you mean about the MT? The 305/35/19 didn't fit well on stock rims?

Has anyone run 305 35s on the stock rear rims of a V coup and 265 40-19 on the stock fronts? The stock tires look a bit short as well as a bit stretched so my thought is to go with 305/35-19 on the rear and 265 40-19 on the fronts. The original sizes have a variance of .18 inches in height from front to back (shorter on rear) and this setup would only have a variance of .06 from front to rear (taller on rear) with a bit of gain in width and height.

I ran this on my coupe before the wide body with zero issues.

Hi Mike B here in Calgary. I have an 08 CTS 4 AWD and I put on a set of OEM 19" CTS V V spoke rims. You have to match up the tire size to have the right rolling circumference. I went with 285/40/19 rear and 255/45/19 front in Michelin's. You cant be out more than 4 RPM over 1 mile. They look so bad ass and fat on the back and fit with no problems. I did mine 2 sets in a gloss black powder coat. You speed will be out a bit. Im out 6Km per hr at 120 km per hr. You have to buy a $200 one time one use module to adjust it but I haven't done that yet.

Sedan and coupe have identical front ends. 20x10 front works with either 255/35 or 275/30 lowered on cut springs. Must get the offset right though. Rear coupes can fit a 20x12 345/25 again, offset must be perfect so there's no rubbing.

20 x 12 Frogestars with 345/25 in the rear of my 2012 coupe. No issues.

Hi guys, my 1st post here, looking to buy a V Coupe and do major surgery with the nod in the muscle car department. I photoshopped in general what I'd like to do aesthetically fully realizing the stock rims offset shown is not possible :D I shared the picture with my younger brother who of course stated he'd steal my keys and I'd never see the car or him again lol.

I currently have too much time on my hands... I've been wondering how much surgery would need to be done with a pre-built Rear End on a body type like this where a traditional Steel H frame might not be there to weld to.
