Continuing klunking and whine even after a new differential was installed has lead me to try and find a better replacement.
Will the differential from the Pontiac G 8 replace the V's?
Other fixes seem to run around $5000

Best price (including shipping charges) for stock diff is from Luke Butler at Lindsay Cadillac. (See ad at right side of your screen.) Under $2k.

If you're like I am and don't want to smoke the rear tires off every chance you get, you won't need one of the bullet-proof aftermarket diffs which are more pricey.

The Diff from the G8 will not work. I agree with Randy....If you not going to beat the @#$% out of it it should be fine. Just turn up the radio so you can't hear the whine... LOL :yup:
