Hello... I wanted to upgrade my headlight bulbs. I like the Sylvania zXe bulbs that I have installed in my other car but the auto store said they only make it in a low beam for my 2012 CTS. No high beam available. Does that sound correct? Have you upgraded your headlight bulbs? What did you use and did you find it to be a noticable improvement. Thanks in advance.

I realize I am responding to discussion back in 2015. However, in my search about the Sylvania zXe bulb, I purchased the D1S zXe Silverstar from Walmart. I had a mechanic drop the fender to replace both bulbs. My experience so far with the bulb (is both low/high beam) is that it does not flood light the road surface, rather it has a spot light effect. I haven't driven too much in the dark to see if there is a break end period to soften the light on the road surface. At this point I could have saved money to purchase the original Philips D1S HD bulb(s). I welcome any users of the zXe to see if they have the same issue with the bulb. Or maybe the mechanic did not install the bulb correctly.

I know this is a very old thread, but what do you use now?
Thx
