Hey all, my premuim care warranty ends this month.. I am right under 40k miles.

Would anyone recommend an extended warranty? If so how would I go about obtaining? I have a maintanence appointment at lockhart cadillac here in fishers indiana this weekend, is that something they can do/look into for me?

Is the extended warranty worth it? Is it comparable to the warranty I am losing? Do I get it throught GM?

What is the typical pricing around this?

Thank you for your responses.

Start by asking your dealer. Also, there is another thread currently running explaining some new details about the new GM warranties.

I don't usually go for extended warranties but the one on my 2009 has paid for itself in coil replacements alone. Do it.

They wouldn't sell them if they didn't make money from them. Statistically speaking, you are more likely to pay more for it than you will get for repairs, but it does offer peace of mind.

Look at Black Cadillac in PA. gmoutlet.com They offer the very best price you will be able to get for a GMPP.
