I just read an article in Kiplinger's Magazine and the Cadillac CTS was chosen as "Best in Class" for cars between $30-45K.

I also found it interesting to see the CTS has better resale value than cars such as:

-Audi A4
-Audi A5
-Acural TL
-Hyundai Genesis
-Lexus ES350
-Lincoln MKS/MKZ
-Mercedes C300
-Toyota Avalon

* This list included just a few of the cars, as the CTS was higher than every other vehicle except the Lexus IS350 & ironically the VW Eos convertible.

Infiniti and BMW were not listed for resale value as I assume the magazine considered the new versions as too new to tell.

The awards keep adding up and I am always surprised by the results. I almost bought the new redesigned A4 in August and am surprised to see how the CTS beats it by 8 percentage points in 3 years.

Oh, I noticed one other interesting thing....for cars listed in the $45K and over category the BMW 535XI was listed as "Best in Class".

Resale Value 3yrs/5yrs

BMW 535XI 43/27

Infiniti M45 50/33

and the Cadillac CTS.... 60/41!
