I hope someone can help me with a problem I am having with my cruise control. I have an 85 Fleetwood 4.1 ltr R.W.D. when I switch on the cruise control the light comes on to say it is active, when I press the button on the end of the turn signal arm the light comes on to say it is engaged, however thats about all that happens, I have no codes, and all the lincages appear to be ok, that is just by looking at it. Anyone any suggestions.
This just did not work one day

Hope someone can help

Make sure the vacuum hoses are connected properly to the servo and the actuator. And make sure the vacuum bum line and switch are all intact. A vaccum leak here can prevent the cruise from engaging.

The cruise is ECM controled on the car, so there is a DTC for cruise. But it will not illuninate the light if it malfunctions. Do a code check to see if any codes are present.
