Its common...you can replace it easily, order from GM parts direct....takes about 10 mins....part cost me $87 shipped....Well I noticed a day after I got my car that there was a small crack on the dash, up by the defroster vent on the drivers side. Lastnight I noticed that it is now all the way across from teh vent to the leather. UGHH!!
Is this a common thing on these cars? I have not seen anything about cracked dash in my skimming here. Any way to fix it or stop from spreading? Is the hard plastic part of the dash separate, or is the entire dash one assembly with leather and all?

Just a bummer as it was not there when I test drive, but after the weeks in customs and POS trucking Co it was there, very small, maybe .5" not it is alllll the way across..:mad2:
