Has anyone experienced oil leaking behind ACcompressor down where oil filter attaches to engine.
Cant get a good look, been getting oil spots on driveway, seems to be spattered dripping slightly
around half the oil pan but coming from above.It is not the oil filter cap or oil drain bolt.
Also has anyone replaced both catalytic converters themselves?Top bolts look tough to get at.

Couple of As,
The oil filter is in an adapter that bolts to the side of the block, has a gasket, and could leak. So could the cam cover.
Remove heat shields for access to cat top bolts, front prop shaft for right side.

Thanks for the As I will try the oil filter gasket .Can the gasket be replaced without removing other parts?

Narrowed leak down to filter adapter or possibly power steering pump if thats what the power steering hose goes into beside the filter adapter
Cleaned up the messy fluid, and havent seen much dripping , maybe was leaking for a while before i got to it.Its wifes car rarely drive it myself.
Everything on this car is a bear to work on , was gonna take off A/C compressor to have a look see but once its unbolted it cant be moved anywhere.
