hi guys

I've been trying to find out what kind of power steering fluid to use on my 99 Seville, is a good old ATF Dextron III an option, or should it be something else?

The owners manual refer to an GM oil that I probably can't get hold of anyway, so I'm curios on the spec for the proper product

thanks

Not sure what your options are in Sweden, but auto parts stores sell Power Steering Fluid.
Back in the day, we used to use ATF, and I think it's still an option...it's only a hydraulic oil.

Thanks for the input guys

I found a product GMC 19329450 (that replaces GMC 89021184, 1052884 and 12353833) which seems as it could be the right one.

There is also an Opel dealership nearby that might carry what I need , they are not GM anymore but I guess they don’t mind continue selling parts when they can :)

After checking the owners manual which refer to the workshop manual that says to only use power steering fluid that meets GM 9985010.
And today i found a Red Line oil fulfilling that
