Wanted to start a thread for coolers, as my 70K mile 2014 is in need of service. I flushed the engine coolant to Chrysler OAT, doesn't have the nasty EHA in it like Dexcool. I want to service the charge air cooler as well.

Although the location and function may be common knowledge, here goes:

Left and right lower front corner radiators are charge air cooler heat exchangers. As far as I know, serviced by loosening the lower hoses to drain using a large wrench on the hex nut fittings. I did not see a drain plug.
Edit: unscrewing the charge cooler heat exchanger hoses looks like asking for trouble. I'll pull the outlet house from the intercooler manifold pipe nipple up top, and garden hose in and out using two brass fittings and two lengths of 3/4" heater hose. Should be able to use the coolant pump to flush it, but if there are any issues I'll use an external pump.

The engine radiator is the rear-most, centered in the radiator support and largest. Sorry to state the obvious, it has a drain plug. The reservoir is an interesting two-tank unit, the the top pressure tank w. radiator cap intended to be full to overflowing as the hose enters the top of the reservoir. There is an unpressurized overflow reservoir below, which keeps the pressurized system at maximum fullness and air-bubble-less.

There is a cooler in front of the engine radiator. It has a drain plug on the passenger side, and on my car contained green coolant. I don't know what it is for, anybody know?

Alldata shows an engine oil cooler, but I think it might just be an oil/air cooler. Any info? What about the differential cooler, oil -> air in the rear?

Nobody knows what the cooler in front of the radiator is for?

You should join the VSport facebook groups. We have accumulated a lot of knowledge there!
To answer your question, on the VSport the two small lower radiators are for engine cooling as well. On the ATS-V they are for intercooler charge air. Check out my intercooler bleed video where I describe the system starting at the 2:25 mark.

Love your videos! I've already bled the intercooler, it needed it badly. Now I want to flush it with fresh coolant, I'll just pump through at the top manifold hose as there do not appear to be drains on the heat exchangers. According to Alldata, tlhe two lower left/right heat exchangers are for the intercooler. The center heat exchanger in front of the radiator dripped green Inorganic Acid Technology (IAT) coolant fluid when the drain plug was loosened.

I dropped Facebook a couple years ago, so can't take advantage of the VSport knowledge there.
